For the first time in 1948 an organization of Trade and Commerce came into existence in the Rajkot by the name of “Rajkot Vepari Mahamandal” and, thereafter, in the couple of years, this organization grew to be known as the Rajkot Chamber of Commerce. Head quartered in Rajkot and with a strong presence in Delhi and Gandhinagar from the Rajkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry started functioning from 1950 in a small shop of one of the members, on a small scale and now it has become the main pillar of the region and from its existence till date the Rajkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry has developed itself as a free, fair and transparent mediatory for ensuring and promoting significant acceleration of inclusive growth and development of business community.
